
Media Registration Rules & Regulations
Anyone wishing to apply for a Boston Wine Expo press pass must complete the online form below. All media applications will be reviews and acceptance/denial emails will be sent beginning January 7, 2011.
Working press registration for members of the media covering the Boston Wine Expo is complimentary. The Boston Wine Expo can provide only two complimentary press passes per each qualifying media outlet. Guest passes will not be issued but can be purchased at a discount once you are approved for press credentials.
Please note: The Boston Wine Expo reserves the right to request past samples of coverage prior to deciding on your request.
Freelance Media
Freelance writers and photographers must submit a letter from the news organization they are representing on that company's letterhead and signed by the editor. Eligibility is subject to approval by the Boston Wine Expo. You will be notified if your request for complimentary press credentials is denied, or if additional information is needed to confirm your status.
New Media
Only journalists with commercial news Web sites qualify for complimentary registration. Sites must be previously established and updated regularly with original and current green building news. Personal Web site writers, designers, editors or creators do not qualify for complimentary press registration.
Bloggers
Bloggers will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must cover industry-related content on a regular basis. Bloggers wishing to receive press credentials must provide the URL of their blog, be a full time, professional blogger, and have at least 10,000 unique visits per month. Self-promoting blogs and those that aggregate third-party content will not be considered. Blog content must be original and updated at least 4 times a week.
