Ming’s delicious East-West recipes are perfect to share with family and friends: Honey Crab Wontons, Onion-Burger “Hot Dogs” with Sweet Chile Relish, and Olive Oil Poached Salmon with Tomato Tapenade. And for the first time, Ming features recipes for sweets like his addictive Almond Oatmeal Cookies and his favorite cocktails.
This collection comes with an exciting twist. Each of the 80 recipes has a QR code that lets you access streaming videos of Ming demonstrating the techniques and methods. The codes also download the recipe's shopping lists right to your mobile device.
A unique interactive experience that makes shopping, learning and cooking just a little easier.

DAVID VENABLE - QVC PROGRAM HOST
David Venable will be joining us on Saturday, February 16th at the Celebrity Chef Stage. Following his demonstration there will be a meet and greet book signing. David Venable joined QVC as a program host in 1993 and has since helped establish and build the multimedia retailer’s gourmet food business. His hit show, In the Kitchen with David, offers a unique interactive viewership experience and features the latest in gourmet foods, cookware, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.
While not a chef, Venable, well-known to his dedicated fans as “Your Resident Foodie,” loves to cook and his passion revolves around all things food. This passion, coupled with his extensive knowledge of the industry, has solidified Venable’s reputation as a sought-after host and TV personality. Venable also serves as a primary host for other QVC programming.
Prior to joining QVC, Venable was an anchor/reporter for WOAY–TV in Oak Hill, W. Va., and CBS-affiliate WTAJ–TV in Altoona, Pa., where he hosted its weekly public affairs talk show “Action Newsmakers.” He also hosted the Children's Miracle Network telethon for four years.
