Insurance

All exhibitors must carry a) Workers’ Compensation in compliance with statutory requirements, b) Comprehensive General Liability in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate, including products and completed operations, independent contractors personal injury and blanket contractual liability, c) Auto Liability in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and in the aggregate when automobiles will be used on the premises

It is a requirement that all exhibitors shall provide Show Management with a certificate of insurance naming The New York Wine Expo, Centerplate at Javits Convention Center, New York Convention Center Operating Corporation, State of New York, The New York Convention Center Development Corporation, The Empire State Development Corporation, the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, ResourcePlus Shows and Events, as additional insured against any and all liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) resulting from claims against the exhibitor in connection with the exhibitor's use of New York Wine Expo display space and/or other participation and investment in The New York Wine Expo. The certificate must specify coverage for move-in and move-out as well as for show days (March 1 - 3, 2013).

Contact your current business insurer, as they usually will issue this certificate as an extension of your regular business policy. OR, if you do not have a current provider, CLICK HERE for information about John Buttine Inc. Exhibitor Insurance Program.  

The certificate naming the above mentioned as additional insured must be provided to the address below by February 15, 2013. Please make sure that your company’s booth and or table number and contact name accompany the insurance certificate. If you have a parent company or a DBA, be sure that the certificate specifies the company name as it appears on your exhibitor contract.
